A meeting with Karlygash Mukhamedzhanova will be held at the Baiqonyr- 2017 Film Festival
On September 15, at the II Baiqonyr Republican Short Film Festival, a meeting with Karlygash Mukhamedzhanova will be held, who will tell her success story. The famous artist of Kazakhstani cinema became a guest from the New York Film Academy.
The II Baiqonyr Republican Short Film Festival is held with the support of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy.
For the first time Karlygash Mukhamedzhanova appeared on the film set in 2009, when she landed the role in the film “Lave” by Anuar Raibayev. Feeling the taste of real cinema, the girl left a successful legal career and devoted herself to cinema. After a successful debut, the actress starred in the films “Jerk” and “Irony of Love”. However, Karlygash landed her first main role in the comedy “The Tale of the Pink Hare,” filmed by Farhat Sharipov in 2010. In the same year, she played in the film “Return to “A” by Yegor Konchalovsky.
Permanent employment on the film set did not prevent the compatriot from building her personal life. In 2012, Karlygash married, and later gave birth to a daughter. Having gone into a short creative break, the actress returned to the movie screens with the pictures “Astana is my heart”, “Amanat”, “Kelinka Sabina 2”, “Kazakh Khanate: Diamond Sword”, as well as the Kazakh-American film “The whole world is at our feet”.
Karlygash Mukhamedzhanova will share about what professional difficulties she encountered, what helped her to overcome them, as well as about the New York Academy of Cinema, at a meeting with guests of the Baiqonyr Film Festival.
