Short films of Baiqonyr will be shown on the TV channel “ElArna”
Partner of the II Baiqonyr Republican Short Film Festival TV channel “Elarna” will screen the films of participants on television. The air day of the short film is Tuesday.
Not only the winners of the film festival will get their hour of glory, but also works that will be interesting to the creative team of the TV channel “Elarna”.
“The channel is not only for movie fans, but also for those who are involved in this industry. The works of young Directors are not presented on TV channels. For us, showing short meters is not only an opportunity to support young people, but also to show our Kazakh cinema to our compatriots. For this purpose, we have allocated a day of air – Tuesday, student day. Before films screenin, we plan to make an introductory story, which will provide information about the young Director, about his work,” - said the chief editor of the TV channel “ElArna” Kamila Kamnazarova.
Kamila Kamnazarova also added that there are no strict criteria for selecting the films, but the works should not contradict the legislation of Kazakhstan.
Let us recall that the II Baiqonyr Republican Short Film Festival is held with the support of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy.
The film festival will be held on September 15 and 16 in the Park of Kok-Tobe (marquee). The programme of the event includes 35 competition and 3 non-competition works, 10 best films screening of the contest “Make a film in 48 hours”, meetings with Karlygash Mukhamedzhanova and Orazkhan Zhakup, the programme “Kazakhstan premiere”.
