The film “Potato Eaters” participates in the Reggio Film Festival
A short film directed by Sharipa Urazbayeva “Potato Eaters” became a member of the International Reggio Film Festival. The XV short-film festival will be held from November 3 to 14 in Italy, in the province of Reggio Emilia.
The picture of the Kazakhstani director tells the story of people who know the true difficulties and disappointments, but who find the strength to live on. Earlier, the film crew’s work of Sharipa Urazbayeva took “The Grand Prix” of the I Baiqonyr Republican Short Film Festival. Thanks to this win, the film “Potato Eaters” was included in the competition programme of the XII Eurasia International Film Festival.
Every year, the Reggio Film Festival initiators set a theme of the festival. 2016 is marked by the theme “Trip”: expressing your point of view.
Contest participants will compete for such awards as: the prize “Best Short Film on the theme “Trip””, Audience Award, “Best Film of the Laymen” section and the SOUND Special Award: award for the best sound.
The winners will be determined on November 14.
