Baiqonyr ISFF: photography report

The 4th Baiqonyr International Short Film Festival ended the day before. From September 4 to 8, 48 films were viewed at Kinoplexx Sary Arka, of which 33 works were in competition. Participants and guests of the festival attended master classes from Serik Abishev and Azamat Dulatov, receiving invaluable knowledge from primary sources.

The five days of the screening were rich and fruitful, young filmmakers from different cities and countries got acquainted with each other's films, established contacts, received advice from members of the international and national jury, and most importantly – were charged with motivation to develop and create something new and beautiful.

In turn, the initiator of the Baiqonyr ISFF Broadway movie portal expresses gratitude to the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Elbasy, for believing and supporting us for the third time. Our movie festival would not have taken place without you.

We are grateful to Kinoplexx Theaters for their partnership and hope that we will hold more Baiqonyr together in the future.
